The reviews for Gears of War: Judgment are coming in and we’ve been receiving a ton of positive feedback.
IGN’s Mitch Dyer says, “Gears of War: Judgment is a fantastic prequel with superb combat, fun multiplayer, and a meaningful story,” and “Intelligent level layouts have an intrinsic connection to Judgment’s new semi-random enemy spawn system, which keeps battles feeling fresh.” IGN gives Gears of War: Judgment a 9.2 out of 10. David Hinkle from Joystiq gives Judgment 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and says, “A diligent approach to ensuring that no two encounters are the same keeps it from ever feeling stagnant or like a waste of your time. You’re always moving, constantly pushing through the next enemy stronghold, never sure of what you’ll face, and it’s always harrowing.
Bringing People Can Fly in was a good choice, because the developer has managed to make fighting the Locust feel dangerous and new again, despite this being my fourth trip to Sera.” Read more HERE.
Destructoid’s Jim Sterling gives a nod to the new modes and campaign in Gears of War: Judgment and says, “Ultimately, however, they work surprisingly well, keeping Gears fresh and familiar all at once.” Jim gave the game a 9/10. You can check out Jim’s full review over at Destructoid.
