Arcade Berg, Gameplay Designer from People Can Fly joined Microsoft a few weeks ago in Paris for a Gears of War: Judgment event.
The event was the finals of a Gears of War tournament called “Gears of War: Judgment Cup.” It’s the first on-site gaming event Microsoft France has hosted for fans and even though it was restricted to France, there wereover 100 teams participating!
There were also over 2,000 people watching the event in the audience.
Microsoft was partnered with France’s biggest online broadcasting network and online gaming portal and the entire event was streamed live via both channels.
Along with the tournament, there was also a “Gears Quiz” competition where the audience competed in Gears trivia.
They won prizes like signed and framed posters and signed Judgment steel cases, etc. Their knowledge was amazing!
Team Exes walked away with first place and won lots of great prizes!
