Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski has commented on the upcoming sequel to Gears of War by the newly established The Coalition studio. This studio is being headed by Rod Fergusson, who is a former Gears of War series veteran, having worked on the series with Cliff Bleszinski.
Recently, Cliff Bleszinski had a chance to talk with one of his friend who is currently working on Gears of War 4 as a writer. According to Cliff Bleszinski, the next game will please everyone, which might be encouraging to hear considering it is coming from the creator of the series.
He also gave shoutout to his former colleague Rod Fergusson saying that he is rooting for the development studio and him to deliver on the next Gears of War.
Then he closed with a line that could sound maybe a little polemic due to its non-involvement in the current development.
Gears of War 4 was showcased at the E3 2015 conference of Microsoft. It will get a closed beta in Spring 2016 for those who have bought the Ultimate Edition of the original Gears of War on the Xbox One. The game is set to release in Fall 2016 exclusively for the Xbox One.
